last day preschool 2014

May wrapped up Lawrence's first year of preschool, swim lessons, and Mommy School. We enjoyed the cooler than normal weather and are now back to our usual hotness!!

Both boys are growing leaps and bounds in so many ways. They've gotten to the point where they have exactly the same interests and play together so nicely! Watching these two in action is definitely a blessing every day.

Lawrence is a master artist. He loves to color, draw, paint,& play with chalk. He likes to practice his writing and is really into rhyming words right now. He's also starting to understand patterns, number sequences, and recognizing more two digit numbers...my favorite is when he'll say 38-39-forty zero :)   (just realized this looks like something I'd write on his report card)  But, he really does enjoy all things school and learning.

Right now grandpa is teaching him to play chess. He knows all of the pieces and is starting to learn how they move. He has the best imagination and loves to pretend what all the pieces are doing. They turn into his own action figures pretty quickly.

He also loves learning new songs on his mini piano. He picks it up so fast!! Love this little guys memory. He is also all about riding his scooter and bike when he gets a chance, and plays outside in the water all the time. No fear for this one! He has become so much more confident in the water through his lessons and I hope to get him to our neighborhood pool more so he gets better and better!

He has always been so fun to watch learn and grow and is even funner to watch as a big brother. He is always asking about his new baby in my belly , which he insists is a baby sister. He rubs my belly and gives it

kisses all on his own without being prompted. He always asks how big baby is and when "she" (he insists) will come out. and I cants even begin with how amazing he is with Evan. He is literally teaching Evan to go on the potty right now and it is amazing. We're all in for clean up crew and potty prizes, but L really takes care of the rest....so nice!

Lawrence is hilarious, intelligent, inquisitive, polite, empathetic.......and so much more. Love our 31/2 year old darling!!
