May- Evan Michael

Evan has stayed true to his nature with his spontaneity, amazing humor, never ending energy, and sweet nature. He lights up a room and truly loves life and all it has to offer...except maybe swimming, he's not really a fan of swimming ;)

Evan loves to be the "class clown." He loves to tell his special version of knock knock jokes, making funny faces and noises, and tickling.Being two makes him hilarious on top of him loving to be funny, its always a show when Evan is around! I can't help but think "Get of the stage Hennessey" something my grandpa used to say to my dad, and then my dad to my brothers, when they were showing off.

Speaking of Poppo, Evan is like him in so many ways. Especially his expressions. He tilts his head ans makes the most familiar expression. The way he usses his eyes to show his feelings, too. All my dad.  I know that's most definitely a gift that God has given me, so that I can see my Daddy through my sweet little boy. I miss him so badly, but watching Evan sure makes it better!

Evan is growing and learning, leaps and bounds. He loves puzzles, fire trucks, trains, board games, cars, coloring, painting, and chalk. The teacher in me loves how he loves to learn and do projects, just like his big brother. He also loves to be a helper whenever possible!!

He's currently learning to use the potty and catching on like a champ. I'd be totally lying if I said Larry and I were doing much. We are mostly reminders and clean up crew.  Lawrence is Evan's biggest supporter and the most help. We are so lucky to have such a hands on big brother for Evan!

Our little goof

Evan sayings:
"My nose is runny away" -when his nose is runny
"When I grow bigger and be strong, I drink coffee"
"No, just peeps"- when I ask if he needs to go poo poo and he's telling me just pee
