Evan's ALMOST Two

So, he has no idea that he's not even three yet, but our little guy is turning two years old in less than a week!!!

still as messy as ever

 He is learning new tricks every week it seems.....

   Got his first little boy haircut.....teary eyes for Momma on this one! Not gonna lie, it was a little like getting the wind knocked out of me to see how big he looks!!!

I mean....LOOK at that face!!!

Look!!! toddler bed!!! yes, this means lots of late night partying and creative nap maneuvers from Momma ( not my first rodeo little man, sorry!)

ps....speaking of nap time meh-ham...  Just now was the most precious (after almost an hour) moment ever, ever, ever!!!  and you can bet a bujillion I soaked every last minute of it up with more teary eyes!!

I tried to get a pic, buy it's not light enough.....

So,  to get him to nap after several sad and unsuccessful attempts, I wrapped him up in a great big burrito blanket, just like when he was an infant. He was so tired  and completely non -resistant.   Then , I just rocked him in my arms, swaying and swinging to him like I used to. He stared at me for a little while and then eventually fell asleep, right in my arms..... 

I would absolutely take  a million more nap time/bedtime fights for just one more sweet little moment like that!
