Toddler Tuesdays And Other Fun With My Babes

Mommy School this month was full of love and learning!! With our weather being so crazy we had a lot of sick days, but here is a glimpse of some of our fun!

Here is some learning fun:

ABC Look at Me!! This month we have been working very hard on our alphabet books. We are making number books at Ms Gina's too.

A is for "ants" and "apples"
B is for "birds"
C is for "car tracks"
D is for "dots"
E is for "eggshells"
F is for "finger painting"

For activities we have been practicing colors and letters.

Letter matching with magnets: The little ones pick a letter magnet from inside a wipes container and match it to its corresponding letter sharpied onto a cookie sheet. Saw something similar on pinterest when L was about 18 months old. It is his absolute favorite, still, and even baby Evan loves it!!

Letter matching with spray bottles:  Toddlers love playing with spray bottles! I use sidewalk chalk  to write letters, have them pick foam bath letters out of a small tub, and they  match them up. When they make the match they get to spray their letter with the water. A big hit! and yes, pinterest tweaked inspiration!

Color matching with muffin tins: All ya need are some colored objects and paper-colored circles at the bottom of a muffin tin. This week we used bear counters.
take one

take two..there ya go boys :)
 Some Love:
heart stamps  with toilet paper rolls..easy peasy!

 Fun heart hats!
Symmetry hearts....we told them to have their heart give itself a hug for the fold :)  We also made snowmen since our friends missed the first one and also, some valentines with foam hearts and stickers ;)
We made these darling prints when Lawrence was a babe at a friends play date. I wanted to recreate it with Evan. Turned out so sweet ;)

oops! Think mine is a little too big Momma!
Lawrence and I also had some fun with some potions!!!  Baking soda, vinegar, and food coloring...ALWAYS a great time!!! and very messy!

I also found an interesting color experiment using milk, food coloring, and dish soap...the soap at the end of a q-tip makes the colors dance. It's a short-lived experiment, but pretty cool. L liked it, but was way more into being messy with the milk concoction :)

So serious! :)
